“It’s not your imagination: children who are struggling with mental health, neurodevelopmental, and behavioural challenges are more likely to be bullied—and/or to bully—other children.”
– Ann Douglas, Parenting Through the Storm
Children Support Solutions (a division of Morneau Shepell) presents Bullying SOS: Support and Strategies for Parents, a free webinar for parents, teachers and other caring adults. During this 45-minute webinar, participants (parents, teachers, and other caring adults) will learn and be able to discuss what they can do to reduce the likelihood that a child will bully or be bullied. Participants will learn how a skills deficit (self-regulation and/or friendship skills) can lead a child to engage in bullying behaviours and/or leave that child more vulnerable to bullying. They will leave with practical strategies for helping a child who is struggling, whether that child is their own child or another child they care about and/or work with. Registration required, but the event is free.
